She loves this one even more, to the point of obsession. The gentleness of the original shines through in this book -- aside from one chapter with a bully, every character treats others with kindness. I appreciate the way it corrects the misguided ecological thinking of the original (relocating the Popper penguin colony from the Arctic to the Antarctic).
